HavenStay is designed to serve as a vital resource for partners by extending access to properties that meet a wide range of ministry and charitable needs. More than simply providing physical spaces, HavenStay seeks to create environments of refuge, hospitality, and empowerment.
This HavenStay Initiative reflects There and Back’s commitment to providing lodging solutions for both Guesthouse and Lodges for specific members. Whether through accessible Guesthouse Lodges which often can also used for as Retreats. HavenStay ensures that participants experience both hospitality and enrichment in settings designed to foster growth, collaboration, and renewal. HavenStay are excellent options for guest lodging and within the Lodges, guest speakers can be invited.
HomeStay Options
- HavenStay Guesthouse – temporary options that support travel and group accommodations. Modeled after the organizational “Bed and Breakfast” concept, these homes are typically under 4,000 square feet and located near or within population centers for convenient access.
- Rental Duration: Minimum of 3 days, maximum of 30 days.
- Occupancy: Designed for groups of up 8 individuals. Check for availability
- Amenities: Media connectivity, furnished rooms, and continental breakfast options.
- Additional Services: Catering services may be included upon request as part of the rental process.
- HavenStay Lodges (and Retreats) – rural or country-based lodging options designed for retreats and larger open-space opportunities. These remote properties are structured to accommodate group gatherings and extended stays.
- Rental Duration: Typically booked in week-long intervals.
- Facilities: Special meeting locations for select groups, restaurant options, tour capabilities, remote prayer rooms, media resources, libraries, and designated lodging rooms.
- Purpose: Ideal for ministerial retreats, spiritual renewal, and group study in a serene environment
HavenStay HavenShelter
HavenShelter home are part of the nonprofit refuge for transition, and restoration. Haven Shelters are designated care‑oriented wing of HavenStay — not communal gathering spaces or HomeStay rental properties. Shelter Houses are specialized options designed to assist individuals who require support in navigating the real estate market or who are transitioning due to unforeseen circumstances. These arrangements are coordinated with There and Back Partners who maintain access. Importantly, The HavenShelter program offers available to individuals independently, without requiring partner participation, however, only on a case by case basis.

HavenShelter Offerings
- HavenShelter Transition – This program provides temporary rental properties for individuals awaiting long-term ownership opportunities. Rental agreements are structured on 30-day intervals, offering flexibility and stability during transitional periods.
- HavenShelter Refuge – during natural disasters or through an agreed upon need, these options are available as temporary shelters. Duration is variable due to the nature of the emergency. This program offers temporary shelter to those in immediate need. The duration of stay is variable, reflecting the unpredictable nature of emergency circumstances and prioritizing safety and care.
